Dinner on Friday night.  I thought I'd find a McDonalds or something - no such luck.  Either the founding fathers of all those little towns got together and decided no fast food joints, or the real estate is too expensive! Probably a little bit of both.  Had a great Bacon BBQ Cheeseburger here.  The funny thing about the Pacific Coast Highway, I've discovered, is that there are campgrounds every 20 miles or so - and when I say campgrounds, I mean metropolis type campgrounds.  Each one that I have seen has had at least 50 large RVs and a ton of people with tents and all that.  Lots of cars, very few motorcycles.  As a rule I skip places like that... but it was getting late, so I pulled into one.  The gal at the front told me it would be $60 for a campground spot and I would have to park the motorcycle in front and hike back to the campsite.  Ah... wtf, over? I passed.  I decided to just find a quite spot off the road somewhere down the line.
